Ventilated Bags
Ventilated bags are PP FIBC with Vented Strips. The ventilated fabric is woven on Sulzer/Flat looms, and the vented strips are woven as per the requirement. Commonly the width of each air strip varies from 1-3Cms but can be changed as per the specification. The advantage to having this variety of FIBC is to allow AIR FLOW through the material filled in the bags.
Commonly used for agricultural products like Potatoes & Onions, which need to lose the moisture to remain long lasting. Products which need certain Air to flow through them, if being packed in closed packing may result in mold formation and rotting of the product. Very appropriate to pack, store and transport products which need an Air Flow to keep afresh.
There are various other technically designed bags which provide AIR FLOW through the material, such as breathable fabric bags & APC bags. Among the mentioned, most of the Air flow is being provided by Ventilated bags, as approximately 40-45% of the fabric portion is covered with vents.
