Liner are packaging solution that are not woven or extruded but are made from the blowing technology. The application of the Liner along with the FIBC is to provide the material an additional layer of protection which is specifically from Air / Water Vapor migration.
With change in the recipe and the material used in blowing the liner, we can get control on VTR, MVTR, OTR etc.
We at IBC are capable of providing liners made from LDPE, LLDPE, PP, NYLON, HDPE, HM HDPE & Foil/Aluminium Liners
Usually the liner, say the default liner material is a co-extrusion of LDPE & LLDPE which is helpful to store/fill material up to a temperature of 100 degrees. Moving forward, if the material is high in temperature while filling, we can go for HMHDPE liner, which are high temperature liners up to 130-140 degrees.
Each material comes with their own unique property
Since these are majorly used inside the FIBC or bags, they come with several ways of attachment with the outer bag.
Liners are loosely inserted in the bags, glued on the bag body from inside, tabbed in the corners, Suspended Liners in case of One & Two Loop bags or Stitched Liners, where the liner need to be with Flanges which allows extra area for sewing of the liners with the seams of the bags.
The construction of the Liners can be tubular, form-fitted or flanged.
And the thickness varies from 40-200 microns & can be produced in any colour as per the requirement.
